Durian Kura-Kura or Tortoise in English can be found in the island of Borneo especially in Brunei, Sarawak and Sabah. The fruit tasted sweet and the smell is not bad as Durian Putih or Muntong. Each plant can produce up to 1000 fruits and one fruit can be priced B$1.00.

In my early life, we have many kinds of durians including Durian Kura-kura. For Durian Kura-kura, each season we can have around 1500 – 2000 durians.But now we have no more Durian Kura-kura plants. The placed has been cleared for houses. Anyway I can still buy from the market.
